Copyright and Acknowledgement

by Gordon Laird

I maintain that the rights to an author's words always remain with the author (unless an explicit contractual arrangement applies.)

You are welcome to use and refer to anything I have written about (e.g. David Kimhi, Eli Levita, Conrad Pellican, etc). The reference will need to be different from a reference to printed material. I ask that a reference be given in your work to the internet location of my writings.

For example a quotation from my article on Conrad Pellican and his “de modo legendi” might have a reference such as:

http://www.glaird.com/pellican.htm

If a more specific reference is desired then a paragraph reference might be also in order, such as:

the paragraph beginning “de modo legendi et intelligendi Hebraeum was a Hebrew primer...”

In addition, I would appreciate receiving a note indicating the use which has been made of my writing, sent to:

Gordonlaird@canada.com

Thank you!
